Reasons behind unfaithfulness of partners in a relationship

If you are one of those who are dealing with unfaithfulness in their relation then probably you have more questions than answers at this point. It is very difficult to figure that the one who claims to love you can make out so much pain in your life. You are left angry, hurt, confused and wondering can your relation survive disloyalty. There are various reasons that can cause this type of situation however, some of the reasons cited as the cause of unfaithfulness of partners in a relationship include:

Unhappiness or Dissatisfaction

Either emotionally or sexually displeasure with the marriage is common cause of this. Marriage is like work, and without mutual fostering couples may grow spaced out.

A sexless marriage or couple having Sex problems is frequently claimed as a cause by both men and women.

Feeling unvalued or unappreciated

Feeling neglected or unrewarding can lead to faithlessness in both sexes, but is widespread in women. When both partners work, women still have to compromise with the work when it comes to caring for the home and children.

In this situation, if man does not appreciate the women and does not make her feel special then this may make her feel neglected and unvalued. Feeling neglected may be related to unrealistic expectations of a partner rather than true neglect.

Lack of Commitment

As noted, a study conducted in 2018 found that people who are less committed to their relationship are more likely to cheat.

Boredom

Everything else aside, boredom can lead to affairs in both men and women who are looking for something new and special as the excitement of the chase and this thrill and obsession allied with new love.

Some people state that, in spite of looking for a substitute for their partner their fling is a way to spice up their marriage.

Falling out in love is also often cited as a cause of cheating, but maybe a need of understanding of the normal maturing of love in relation.

Sex problem

This is other major cause of unfaithfulness. Feeling unsatisfied with the sex life you have in your relationship, maybe because your partner has lost interest or you want to try something new that your partner can not give you.

If this happens then definitely this situation can force you to have relation with others that can create disloyalty.

Body Image or Aging

Demonstrated frequently by stories of older men having an affair with women having age of their daughters, cheating may sometimes be a way for a man or woman to prove that they still "have it."

If one partner has had an affair or has damaged the partner in some way, the offended partner may experience a need for reprisal resulting in an affair.

Esteem

Number of relation breaks because there are lots of people who feel sleeping with others can improve their sense of self-worth, signal their independence or increase their social status and popularity.

If your loved one could cheat even if you think you are doing everything right or believe your exclusive is scary then it is advised to have an honest conversation with your partner about your relationship.
